Thank you for visiting my website!
I am a Boston-based human being, and I spend most of my time enjoying ethnography and playing the flute. Currently, most of my time is dedicated to the PhD program in (ethno)musicology at Boston University. I’m sorting out researching the theoretical areas of women and gender, violence and trauma, and affect, although my interests are fluctuating quite a bit at this point.
On the flute side of things, I am interested in new music and collaboration, chamber music, and performing pieces where the ink hasn’t yet dried. In previous years, I have been a student of Linda Toote, Richard Sherman, and Jill Heyboer.
