Things have been a little quiet around here since September, when I started working for the Boston University School of Music full time. It’s taken a while to get into the swing of things, but stay tuned for upcoming projects, recitals, and new music.

upcoming performances

I am lucky enough to be playing two fantastic pieces by Boston University composers in the upcoming weeks. Check out the concerts, both of which are at the Lilypad* in Cambridge:

Lesley Hinger’s blight, 4/18 at 6:30 PM

Felipe Pinto d’Aguiar Montt’s Sin Ir Más Lejos, 4/25 at 8:00 PM

*Important note: you can drink beer while you listen to music at the Lilypad. :-)

As of this week, I have relocated to Boston (hurray!) to begin my DMA studies at Boston University. As a result, I’m opening up my studio to Boston-area flute players. I believe strongly in a whole-student approach to teaching the flute- student input is a huge part of finding musical direction, picking repertoire, formulating a plan for practicing, and addressing all the other components of musicianship. If you think this sounds interesting or want to know more, shoot me an email on my contact page.
